Lagoon biosolids removal and land application

BioTech Agronomics provided removal and land application of approximately 30,000 cubic yards of biosolids from the City's forty (40) acre wastewater lagoons. The biosolids were excavated from one end of the lagoon and a self contained lime mixing system was erected to provide lime stabilization, thereby achieving a Class A biosolids product. The biosolids were excavated from the lagoon bottom and mixed with lime in a pug mill and conveyed into dry spreaders and land applied on farm fields adjacent to the facility. Utilizing four (4) dry spreaders, we consistently excavated and spread approximately 2000 cubic yards per day.
